Thursday 12th July: Planting the Seed Event hosted by Coffs Harbour and District LALC and Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corp + Supporting Orgs.

With over 150 community members coming to the event and many tourists dropping in to have a look it was nothing short of a huge success!

With Cultural Performance (Wajaarr Ngaarlu) and Welcome to Country by Jenny Skinner to kick off the event which moved into many activities from Weaving with Rachel Cavanagh, Arts and Clay Making with Uncle Tony Hart, Dance Workshops with Clark Webb, Screen Printing with Aunty Jenny, Face Painting with Trudy Smith and of course the Planting a Seed in the new Bush Tucker Garden, all these amazing activities keeping our community engaged all day long.

We can’t forget to mention that deadly feed from the Nyanggan Gapi Café. Soo yummy. (Really recommend them for catering)
