EAPA Assistance is a NSW Government
initiative to assist people in the Coffs Harbour and surrounds community with
Electricity Accounts. This is not a LALC controlled service, it is governed by
Planning and Environment.
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIMES
Coffs Harbour & District Local Aboriginal Land Council offers this assistance with Electricity Bills on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9.00am – 10.30am. To apply for this assistance you will need to organise an EAPA Assistance Meeting with Reception. Meeting will take approximately 15 minutes.

What will you need to bring to your
EAPA Assistance Meeting?
- Copy
of the Current Bill which has your Account Number, NMI Number, Name and Account
Address on the bill.
- Centrelink
Concession Card (if applicable)
- If
you have other expenses at time of assistance, please bring to appointment
- Assistance cannot be greater than 50% of the current charge on the
Electricity bill.
- Assistance is NO more than $600 a year and is assessed by EAPA’s
criteria and amount owing on current bill.
- EAPA vouchers can only be issued twice a year from July to July the
following year.
- EAPA
Shopping does not work anymore. You cannot see more than 1 service for assistance
on the same bill.

Assistance is now applied for online. It can take up to 3-5 working days.
