On Tuesday 9th October the Coffs Harbour and District LALC hosted a Community Services Forum called “Stayin Connected Community Fun Day” on Wongala Estate!

Beautiful Weather and Great Company! A large number of Community Orgs and Services helped making the day very fun and informative.

The day included Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan’s Troy Robinson doing Cultural Activities with the Kids, also Ready Mob with Basketball, Go4Fun also on the Basketball Court with other Activities and Rural Fire Service and the Local Fire Station Teams on the empty block at the back of the Estate.

This was all topped but great tunes blasting through the Wongala Estate and a Deadly Feed! Want to thank A Break Disability and Respite and also CHESS Employment and Training for helping cover the cost of the BBQ.
Also want to thank Woolworths for kindly contributing the Fruit and Vege (not only for this event but the whole 2 weeks of Activities on our Calendar).

Overall great numbers of Community involvement throughout the day. An event we look to hold every school holidays as we as a LALC believe it’s so important to keep our community very informed when it comes to services around us but also coming together as a community.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day and looking forward to the next event.
