LALC housing is subsidised housing provided to low income Aboriginal families/people. The Land Council manages a portfolio of 54 Social housing properties varying in size from 2 to 5 bedrooms. These properties are located at Wongala Estate (12 houses) and at various other locations within the Land Council boundaries (Red Rock to Urunga). You must be a member of the CH&D LALC to be eligible to apply for our housing and once your application is approved you will be placed on our housing waiting list.
Please note: If you are already in a Department of Housing property you are ineligible for our social housing program.
If you are one of our housing tenants and require maintenance on your property please email your maintenance request via our contacts page or call our property manager on 6652 8740 at your earliest convenience.
To be placed on our Housing Waiting List you are required to be a Current Member of the Coffs Harbour & District Local Aboriginal Land Council. If you are unsure of your membership status with us please contact the office.
Once you become a member of the LALC you will be asked to fill out the Housing Application and supply certain documents as apart of your application process.
