EXTENDED: Gumbaynggirr Artists Expression of Interest (EOI) for Koala Management Plan

Overview

Coffs Harbour and District Local Aboriginal Land Council City Council and partners are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from Gumbaynggirr artists to be part of the “Good Koala Management Project.”. Specifically, we are seeking artists to create designs reflective of Gumbaynggirr culture and Koalas that can be integrated as design elements for Management plan and Digital for webpage.

Essential criteria for artists submitting an EOI:
👉Must be a Gumbaynggirr Artist
👉Previous experience in commissioned design work preferred but not essential
👉Creativity and innovation
👉Ability to comply with deadlines

Use of Artwork

The Gumbaynggirr artwork provided by the successful artist/s will be used for the overall Koala Management Plan and seasonal calendars, website, the two films and t-shirts. The artworks/s supplied may be modified, adapted or edited to alter the design or to incorporate the artwork/s into design of the management plan.

Consider designs/artwork that will suit multiple functions and mediums including:
👉Screen Print
👉T-Shirts
👉Digital
👉Printed materials

How to Apply – Artists wanting to be considered need to submit an art pieces featuring Koalas and other significant animals to Gumbaynggirr People including descriptions by June 26, 2020 either via email [email protected] or drop to the front desk of Coffs Harbour and District LALC:
