Acting Supervisor of Durrunda Wajaarr
Alita Carberry is currently the Acting Supervisor of Darrunda Wajaarr Rangers for the Coffs Harbour and District LALC.
To increase the biodiversity of Coffs Harbour landscape looking after Land and Sea Rehabilitating Sites and Cultural values.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee site management activities for Darrunda Wajarr pertaining to conservation/land management/regen activities.
- Assist in the development of conservation land management rehabilitation plans and strategies, apply appropriate bush regeneration rehabilitation techniques within conservation and land management, buffer zones, protecting cultural sites from or vandalism.
- Supervise Darrunda Wajarr casuals on site, including hazard reduction burns and other fire activities.
- Implementing Work Health and Safety and Rehabilitation procedures insisting on correct and safety practice at all times, including risk assessments, erecting signs, barriers.
