Today our Darrunda Wajaarr and Gumma IPA Rangers went to the beach at Mylestom to look for pippi’s. They were joined by Gumbaynggirr elder and pippi lover Uncle Buddy Marshall. The activity is part of a research project by Nambucca Heads LALC to gauge local populations on Gumbaynggirr country and measure the chemicals within the populations. A great day was had by all. Unfortunately for Uncle Bud no pippi’s were harmed or eaten during today’s activities.
